I have a LOT of this from Kijiji. Had a Suzuki 4 wheeler for sale on there. It worked and had papers. $400 Firm. I got responses like " Ill give you fifty bucks and a ps3 controller plus a surround sound system" Or " I'll give you 25 bucks for it" To which I respond "Are you crazy? In a province where it seems nearly every single bike for sale has somehow lost it's papers the papers alone are worth 100 bucks at least." Final replay from the guy "I tells it as I see's it let me know if you change your mind". This is in Nova Scotia btw, where you can find ad's like "1996 Sunfire 400,000 kms. Needs transmission and Motor but body is mint, $2000". I miss Ontario sometimes.

Lol at the sunfire. Sorry about people offering you shit for your atv.
This occurred in Ontario haha The price says $80 firm. That means $80. Not $50, not $40, not a slice of pie and a rusted out 1991 Lumina van. Reading comprehension people. If I just wanted them gone, like my tires, I would have put $80 OBO.
I get my price is on the higher end, that's because I don't have to sell these, they cost me nothing to store in a good environment. I will sell them. If I can't sell them, I will lower my price and post a lower price. If I cant get shit all, then I will just donate them. May as well do something good.

Also, why on god's green earth would he think you'd take $25 for a friggen 4 wheeler?? What a clown. I wouldn't have even responded. I once gave away a dresser for free, and I said "for pickup only" because my car cannot fit this dresser, it would not fit no way no how. So many people said "deliver it to XXXXXX". How about no.
Peoplez man, I tellz ya!

Oh, I am aware this happened in Ontario but my missing Ontario was referring to the Sunfire part, in that at least in Ontario you can get a decent car for 2 Grand, at least it'll be running safety and Cert. At least when I last lived there a car had to be saftied and emissioned before sold? I may be wrong as I never bought a car when I lived there(born and raised in Toronto, who needs a car when you have Transit) but have help friends buy and sell and that is the jist that I got.
Yes 25 dollars is a real low ball offer but it is a serious one. I have been offered all kinds of things in exchange for my items which were mostly ATVS and dirtbikes (At the time I was fixing and trading them). I've been offered countless video game systems, movies,tv's. Sorry bud but you're ten year old Plasma is not an even trade for an 01 Honda XR200.
Yeah had the same thing happen to me when I offered my daughters toys for free. Not old or beat up toys she just never played with them. People wanted me to drive 40 minutes or more.
I also remember one time trying to arrange a buy from someone, but for some reason or another I was not able to make it on a particular day even though I had told them it was not a for sure thing on the date anyway. Suddenly it was my fault that her son had no baby formula and he was now going to starve and I was such a horrible person. She was a single mom and was depending on that money and blah blah blah... My response? I told her how I was a single father and did just fine and not once did my daughter go without formula and I never depended on strangers to feed my child, even if it meant me not eating for a week.
Some peoples children I tell ya.
